Kaappaan

Kaappaan aka Kappan is a Tamil political action thriller movie directed by K. V. Anand and written by Pattukkottai Prabakar. The movie Kaappan has Suriya, Mohanlal and Sayyeshaa in the lead roles. Actor Arya will be seen in a pivotal role in the movie. The movie is produced by Subashkaran under his own production banner ‘Lyca Productions’. Prime Minister Chandrakant Verma’s life is in danger with serious threats looming over his head. Enter Kathir, who is an SPG Commando, assigned to protect the PM. Will he be able to save the PM’s life? Kaappaan revolves around this and more. M. S. Prabhu and Abinandhan Ramanujam handles camera, while Harris Jayaraj composes music for the movie. The movie shoot kick-started with the photoshoot on June 2018 at London. The title of the movie Kaappaan was announced with first look poster on 31st December 2018. Suriya plays a NSG commando in this movie and director KV Anand says “#Kaappaan is on a mission to save you” via twitter. The movie gets U/A certificate from the censor board. The movie scheduled to release theatrically on 20 September 2019.
