Once before he enters into the film industry he appeared in various short and telefilms. Then he made his debut movie Sethupathi in the supporting role with Vijay Sethupathi which is directed by Arun Kumar in 2016. Then in the year 2017, he made his breakthrough by appearing in the supporting role in the series of successful Tamil films like Maanagaram, Peechankai, Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam and more. In the movie Vikram Vedha, he appeared as a drug lord Ravi and politician in the movie Peechankai has won critical acclaim among the people. In the movie, Meyaadha Maan he featured as the second lead role as Vinoth along with Vaibhav. Moreover, he won the Vijay Award for Best Supporting Actor for the movie Meyaadha Maan.
